Tote My Tot to College Teen Parenting Program has officially started!!!

NEXT SESSION WILL BE HELD ON MAY 19, 2010!!!!

Tote My Tot to College (TMTC) is a voluntary program for young women looking to better themselves, and the lives of their children, through a college education. TMTC will hold monthly support groups for the participants. Topics of discussion include, but are not limited to: time management, stress management, nutrition, and budgeting/finances.

Sessions held every third Wednesday beginning April 21, 2010 at 7pm at the     YWCA-Chapel Room, located at the corner of Cameron and Market Sts.

Please come and join us! 
Bring the kids…we will have things to occupy their time too!
A Place to meet other Teen Moms with similar struggles and similar goals!

2009 Winter Coat Drive

Big Boys In Training is teaming up with Villa to collect coats in downtown Harrisburg for the needy from Dec. 2 through Dec. 5.

Anyone with a new or re-usable winter coat can drop it off at the Villa store at 333 Market St. each day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Donors in return will each get a 5-pack of $10 coupons. Coats of all shapes and sizes are welcome and will be distributed to local shelters, individuals and family-oriented organizations.

Two Midget League Player's of the Harrisburg Broncos receives BBIT scholarship!

On August 8, 2009, Big Boys in Training held a Car Wash to fund its first set of Midget League Scholarships.  And on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, Jamien Harvey from BBIT handed two city kids a scholarship to cover the cost of their 2009 Football Season.  The Harrisburg Broncos organization was honored that kids from their team were chosen to receive these scholarships and thanked the organization for its great work.  As Big Boys in Training's organization grow, we are hoping to hand out many mor...

Come Get Your Car Washed!!!

BBIT will host a Car Wash on August 8, 2009 from 8am to 3pm at two conveniently located Advanced Auto Parts Stores, 350 N. Front Street in Steelton and 2890 Paxton Street in Harrisburg.  Don't feel like cleaning up your ride, we will do it for you!  Help us continue our efforts in improving the lives of our youth.  Our goal is to offer free programs to the youth in our communities, that will help them develop mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially.  All proceeds from the Car Wash wil...

BBIT and Goodwin Memorial Unite and host "FREE Bowling Party"

On August 12, 2009, 6pm to 9pm, BBIT and Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church will hosts a STOP THE VIOLENCE, "FREE" bowling party for children of the City of Harrisburg.  Space is Limited to 200 children, so parents make sure you register your children early.  We will be providing transportation to those who need it.  Along with Free bowling, we will also have Hot Dogs, Chips and a drink for all children in attendance.  BBIT will debut it's "Stop the Violence Documentary" to enlighten our childre...

BBIT Youth Basketball Team

June 7, 2009


Big Boys in Training's youth basketball team officially kicked off its summer league season on June 6, 2009.  The team consist of youth ages 12-14.  BBIT's continuing to reach out to our children providing them with alternatives to the streets that will assist in building character, confidence and self-esteem.  Keep an eye out because BBIT will be coming to a community near you.
