Big Boys In Training is teaming up with Villa to collect coats in downtown Harrisburg for the needy from Dec. 2 through Dec. 5.
Anyone with a new or re-usable winter coat can drop it off at the Villa store at 333 Market St. each day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Donors in return will each get a 5-pack of $10 coupons. Coats of all shapes and sizes are welcome and will be distributed to local shelters, individuals and family-oriented organizations.
Big Boys In Training is a nonprofit organization co-founded by Harrisburg school district teachers Jamien Harvey and Andrew Erby. The group focuses on promoting an anti-violence message through team sports.
